Macbeth
A minimalist scenography for a new interpretation of “Macbeth” by William Shakespeare directed by Agata Duda Gracz – Musical Theatre Capitol in Wrocław.
One of the most interesting and demanding projects in the history of our company. The stage space is entirely occupied by a unique, mobile platform – the only component of scenography. This is an eight-tonne tiltable structure with dimensions of 10 m x 10 m. The gigantic object makes an unbelievable impression raising 30 actors to a height of 8 meters.
The floor turns into a “wall” (0-45°) from which the characters of the performance are falling. Then, the proscenium becomes a ditch or garbage heap, to which “corpses fall”.
This is one of the largest stage installations of this type in Europe.
